Sol Trujillo, boss of telephone company Telstra has had his phone stolen at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona. Thing is, it had the pre-release version of Windows Mobile 6.2, so Microsoft is plutzing that competitors will get their hands on it.
I do like New Zealand Business weekly National Business Review‘s remark though:
“. . . judging by luke-warm early reviews from journalists in Barcelona – who were allowed to view the new version Windows Mobile but not even touch the HTC phone it was running on – the thief is in more danger of being bored to death.”
And I really like their picture caption, ‘Colega, dónde está mí móvil?’ (and my stolen headline), after that awful American teen film.
